Office Manager/ Bookkeeper

We are looking for a full time office manager & bookkeeper. This person will spend 50% of their time in each roll.

Job Description:

  • Welcome and greet clients
  • Accept orders
  • Answer phones & emails
  • Assist in reaching out to potential and existing clients
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendar
  • Maintain front lobby and sales offices
  • Order office supplies and materials
  • Assist filling out estimates/ contracts for sales reps
  • Compile monthly commission reports
  • Maintain accounting records using QuickBooks Desktop
  • Manage all aspects of the general ledger in QB
  • General accounting duties, as needed
  • Categorize and track expenses
  • Accounts Receivable and Payable
  • Create and check financial statements for accuracy
  • Bank and petty cash entry and reconciliation
  • Credit card statements entry and reconciliation
  • Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts
  • Perform ad hoc expense and operational assignments
  • On occasion attend showcases/ expos

Job Skills:

  • Must have 2+ years of experience as a bookkeeper with excellent references
  • Warm personality
  • Likes to interact with people
  • Looking for a fast paced and challenging work environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks Online
  • Ability and knack for working with numerical data
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of QuickBooks
  • Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a bigger organization
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Good on the phones/ writing emails
  • Multitasker and adjustable
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles

Design Intern

We are looking for multiple Design Interns to attend events with our experience staff. This one in a lifetime educational & practical work experice opportunity is 2- 3 days a week from May- September. 

 

Qualifications

  • Interest in event & floral design/production
  • Eye for high end style and decor
  • Minimal 3rd/4th year college education must be completed and on going
  • Punctual, on time and a go getter
  • Driver's licence and independent method of transportation
